OPPO Father's Day Competition

Entry is open to those who are 18 years or above, and are permanent residents of and residing within Australia. 

  1. Contest is being run by Promoter: OPPO Australia
  2. Contest Period: OPPO Father’s Day giveaway contest begins on 26 August 2024 and ends 30 August 2024 at 12:00pm AEST (“Contest Period”).
  3. Participation in the contest is open to everyone who, on the date of entry, are legal residents of Australia, at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or older. Employees, officers, directors of the promoter, their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, legal and financial advisors, or all other companies associated with this Contest, and the respective immediate family members of such employees, officers and directors, are not eligible to enter. For purposes of this contest, "immediate family members" means parents, spouses, children, siblings, in-laws and grandparents whether residents of the same household or not.

  1. One will be selected by the Promoter on 30 August 2024 who will win the above-mentioned prize. The final discretion on the winner selection will be left to the Promoter.  
  1. The prize winner will be selected on the basis of their entry submission detailing their answers to the required question. Selection criteria will be based on the relevance and creativity of the entrant’s answers.  
  1. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize(s) of comparable value. No request from participants for substitution of prizes with any other item/cash will be entertained. 
  1. Prizes are non-transferable. 
  1. Prizes offered on 'NO EXCHANGE NO REFUND' basis. 
  1. Terms of Entry:
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant who, in its sole and absolute discretion, is not eligible to participate in the Contest. 
  1. The Promoter has the sole right to withdraw / edit any aspect of the Contest at its discretion and / or alter the terms and conditions without prior notice. 
  1. Entries may only be submitted by individual participants. Participants may not submit entries for any person other than themselves, regardless of whether or not the Participant has submitted their own entry. Entries not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions herewith, shall not be considered in the Contest and the Promoter bears no responsibility for any such entries. 
  1. The Promoter has the right to use any content shared by the user for promotional purposes of the contest. 
  1. All entries become the exclusive property of the Promoter and will not be returned. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant, for any reason, in its sole discretion. 
  1. Neither the Promoter nor any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees, nor any Internet access providers (collectively "Released Parties") are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information, human error, technical malfunction, lost / delayed data transmission, lost / delayed / misdirected mail, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failure of any network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, or for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incorrect or incomplete entry. 
  1. If for any reason any aspect of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest,  the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest or invalidate any affected submissions. 
  1. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any submissions, and prohibit further participation in this Contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the submission process or with the operation of this Contest or acts in violation of these terms and conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. 
  1. Winner Announcement
  1. The winner will be contacted via Instagram 
  1. The Contestant will be asked to provide their full name, contact details, email address and residential address. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to use any other method or medium it deems fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the Application winner. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit prizes for any Application winner who does not provide the required verification upon receiving the request/notification from the Promoter. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Application winners and to fulfil the delivery of prizes and Participants agree that the sponsor may provide all necessary information of Application winners to such a third party to facilitate such service. 
  1. The Promoter and its related companies and agencies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Contest or the acceptance or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  2. The Promoter’s decisions shall be final in all matters relating to this Contest and no correspondences will be entertained.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  4. 13.  It is the responsibility of the participants to inform the Promoter of any change in the address of correspondence, for availing the prizes.
  5. Apart from the entitlement to the listed prize/s, the winner will have no other rights or claim against.
  6. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or inevitable accidents.
  7. Participation in this Contest is purely voluntary.
  8. 17.  By participating in the contest, the user voluntarily agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
  9. The Promoter implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of the personal information when it is entered, submitted, or accessed. Information submitted as part of this promotion may be used for email marketing purposes, complying with the Promoter’s Privacy policy. 
  10. The decision of the Promoter as to the interpretation of any clause shall be final and binding on the user.
  11. Where the Promotion is administered on Facebook or Instagram, entrants and participants in the Promotion acknowledge that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook and entrants and participants in the Promotion release Facebook and its associated companies from all liability arising from the Promotion.
  12. If any prize is not claimed in due time, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner as necessary to distribute the prize/s. If a prize is no longer capable of being redeemed, the new winner/s will receive a prize, as determined by the Promoter, of equivalent value (as if the original prize had been awarded to that person, less any administrative expenses incurred by the Promoter).
