OPPO Reno12 5G

Great phone, great value, easy to set up and use.

I love it! This is my second OPPO Reno series phone. My last phone was OPPO reno Z. It was fantastic and still is. I still have it, but it was getting a bit long in the tooth and the battery wasn't lasting as long as it used to.
The battery life in the Reno 12 is fantastic and with the 80W charger is unbelievable, and it also came with the free earbuds, well, how could one pass up such a great deal! Thank you OPPO.

I've been using Oppos for a while and usually love them. The Reno12 (5G) is the first Oppo that has made me want to change brands. I'm another that also got caught in the Pad Neo con. Bought it in the right time frame, the phone was eligible and had the docket to prove I'd bought it. But I was told that because I didn't buy it at JB Hi-Fi, it wasn't eligible. Initially, there was nothing about the promo being linked to a specific chain but the website reflected that chain about a week after I started trying to claim.

It works. It makes calls and I can use my regular apps on it. My biggest gripe is that I need to turn the SIM off or restart the phone on a daily/weekly basis to get it to send and receive photos sent via mms. About once a fortnight, the phone will freeze and I'll need to restart it to get it working again.

It randomly shuts down of its own accord. Has the habit of doing it when driving and listening to music. Then you have to pull over, enter the pin, and restart the music.

We had an issue with the purchase and redemption of the tablet. Only to find out that it was the wrong colour for the redemption. And the lack of customer service due to the full price purchase and the price dropped $150 and they wouldn't even help with a partial refund since the product was reduced a week after the purchase was made. We will not be purchasing from oppo again.

I purchased a RENO 12 5G phone online during a promotion period as it stated on their website that if you purchase a RENO 12 5G you were eligible for a Bonus Pad Neo & $50 e-voucher, NO WHERE on their website did I see any reference to read the T&C before purchasing this phone, I received my phone & tried to claim the bonus items with it stating that I was ineligible, so a phone call to customer service advised me that their records showed that I had purchased my phone on the day I phoned them, this is not true as I purchased the phone within the 4 day promotion period & forwarded my receipt as proof of that. Customer service advised me to email promotions & support, which I did several times & each email advised the same information refer to the T&C, but no one could provide me with any proof where it stated on their website to refer to T&C in relation to purchasing this phone. Now I am stuck with a phone I no longer want because of poor service I have received from OPPO over this matter.
